Meet Our Owner and Lead Designer
Owner Candice Howard has been designing florals for more than six years. She grew up in Millburn, NJ and received a B.A. in political science from Rutgers College in 1994. Most of her career has been alternating between the worlds of politics and non-profit fundraising. Candice has always been an advocate for women and spent many years working on issues impacting women and girls.
In 2013, while working in county government, Candice discovered her creative side and began designing silk floral arrangements for friends, family and her own home. When a friend suggested that she try designing with fresh flowers, Candice decided to leave her political career and attend school for floral design. She received her Professional Floral Design Certification from the FlowerSchool NY, an exclusive school that trains florists from around the world. Making the transition to owning her own business in 2014, Candice loves that she has the opportunity to give business to other women and to mentor young women in all aspects of being a woman business owner.
Candice and her husband Tom recently purchased a 7 acre farm in South Brunswick, NJ where they plan to grow flowers and tend to the 7 beehives they inherited on the property. They have a 21 year old daughter who attends Boston University.
Candice will joyfully oversee every detail of your wedding from start to finish!
